hey y'all!
so I've been experimenting with some more bohemian pieces lately, and I really love it! While I usually dress preppy/classic/minimalistic, I do love to go out of my comfort zone sometimes. I work at a boutique, and so I am constantly seeing fun pieces that aren't always my style, but I think if you're always afraid to try new things, your style can get boring and you get the feeling of having nothing to wear.
this top is one I picked up from the boutique I work at, so unfortunately I was unable to find the exact top, but I did link another one that is very similar, under $20, and seriously so cute. :) I love the floral pattern and the colors in it -- it will be so great to use as a transitioning piece for fall. And of course I love a good bell sleeve piece!
I paired the top with some cutoff shorts from American Eagle. I've had these since high school...and honestly they aren't my style either, but I think they go with the top well, and are perfect for summertime! I wore my go-to cognac sandals from Marshalls, and a pearl choker necklace.
I have been testing out choker necklaces too, and this one is the perfect style for me! I love that its the look of a choker, but the pearl detailing keeps it less harsh and more my style. I was always kind of hesitant to wear chokers, but it can definitely be incorporated into a girlier style if that's you! I had seen these pearl chokers everywhere, but y'all they come with a price tag that seems a little too high for a trendy item that I won't wear everyday. So I did a little DIY and I love how they turned out!
Because I love y'all and I'm so thankful for all the lovely gals that read my blog, I wanted to do a mini giveaway.
