MARCH FAVORITES

Hey y'all!

Once again, another month has come and flown by! I can't believe it...but I know I say that each month ;) March was a really great month for me. I was pretty busy with school, but I have received some great news about being in some new clubs for senior year, and of course having spring break this month was so great, and much needed! Some other highlights include having some family come into town and just having some extra time on the weekends to spend with Nate, our dog Scout, go to church, and relax! 

I'm really looking forward to the next month -- I know its going to fly by as well! Easter is in just a few weeks, and I will get to go home to my grandparent's farm and see my family which is something I look forward to each year. We also have formal for my sorority, the spring football game, and lots of activities and events with school. 

I wanted to share some of my favorites from the past month with y'all for today's post. 

1. Turquoise statement necklace. Y'all this is a maaajor fashion favorite of mine this month. I love turquoise, and I have found that this piece is great for a colorful outfit which have been my go-to recently with spring approaching. I love the chunky stones, and the multiple layers adds more dimension. I love all white looks as well as pairing unexpected colors with this necklace. 

2. Jergen's Lotion in Medium/Dark. I usually find that the warm weather and my pale, pale skin is not a great combination...and especially when I have blog photos to take. However, I find that this product is the best way to combat that for a reasonable price. I use the medium/dark color because it works so much faster. I am kind of intimidated by a foam/mitt application but this is something I can do easily!

3. Leopard print clutch. If you follow me on Instagram, you would probably know that I have worn this thing like crazy this month. I love how chic a clutch feels and it is a nice change of pace from my massive tote I typically use ;) Plus, I love a good pop of cheetah print so this is an obvious choice!

4 Suave Dry Shampoo. This is another affordable option, and something I have really gotten my use out of this month. It has really helped to add volume to my hair, and I find that I use it on a daily basis because of this! I have flat and fine hair, and it helps to add texture to my hair whether I'm wearing it straight or curled. Plus, it is under $4 which is hard to beat!

5. Black aviator sunglasses. I purchased these shades in the past few months, and now that it is getting warm and I spend more and more time outside, these are becoming a staple of mine! I love how bold and chic they are, while still being a pair that I can wear with just about any outfit. I have found that I only reach for this pair, because I know they will go with all my outfits. 

6. Lipstick favorites: Wet & Wild Liquid Catwalk lipstick, MAC's Candy Yum Yum. I couldn't help but list two of my favorite lipsticks because I am such a lipstick junkie! My drugstore favorite for the month is by Wet'n'Wild which is actually a great brand for how affordable it is. This lipstick is super matte, and I love the color. It's the perfect everyday shade! Secondly, the MAC lipstick in Candy Yum Yum is one that I break out when I need a pretty pop. I wear it for daytime, but some might consider it more of a night/bold look but that doesn't stop me! It is also super matte, and a blue-based bright pink. I think it is super flattering and when I am wearing a colorful outfit, I love adding a bright pink lip.
