CURRENT FAVORITE LIP COMBO

Hey y'all!

Happy Friday! Congrats on making it through another week! I'm so happy its Friday -- even though it was a short week with the 4th falling halfway through, its always great to know you have a couple days to kick back and relax.

Today I wanted to share my current favorite lip combo with y'all. I discovered this pair and fell in love! It is absolutely perfect for everyday wear, but also looks nice for formal events if you don't want to overdo it with the hot pink lipstick (although I am totally one to do that...no shame)

I was originally going to wear this combo for my wedding! But then I realized that bright pink is more my speed, and I wanted to totally be myself and look back and love the photos. However, for a more subtle look, I wear this several times a week to work and such!

First, I start off with a liquid lipstick. If y'all know me or have been around very long, you know that I am a huuuge liquid lipstick gal. It's pretty much all I wear! My thoughts are, if you're going to go through the hassle of buying lipstick and putting it on, it should last you quite awhile. I'm also not a fan at all of having lipstick on my teeth ever. So, liquid lipstick solves the problem! This is the liquid lipstick I use in the shade 'Ashton'! The formulation is incredible and I love the applicator. 

Most people's biggest issue with the whole liquid lipstick situation is that it is drying. Which can be true. So, many people would then top their lipstick with a gloss. I'm not a huge gloss gal -- so I just top it with a regular lipstick! It gives a bit softer, creamer finish without goopey lip gloss. This is the normal lipstick that I top it with -- in the shade 'Teddy'.
