My best friends.

This weekend I had the opportunity to meet up with my cousins, aunt, and uncle for dinner and ice cream. They are Jayhawk fans but came to Manhattan just for the evening--if only I could get them to like purple too! But anyways, it was so much fun. We went to Aggieville and ate at a really good restaurant called the So Long Saloon. I had heard so much about it, and it's always fun to try all the places you hear so much about. That's one thing I've really loved about moving to Manhattan; I get to start over finding all the quirks and fun things to do in the town.

I feel so lucky to have such close relationships with my family--I think that is something not everyone can say they have! My cousins are some of my best friends. Even though we don't see each other as often as I'd like, every time we get together is just fun. Some of my favorite memories are shared with my cousins. They are such a blessing in my life!

Anyways, it was a lovely time and a great way to spend my weekend. Now I'm counting down the days until Thanksgiving when I can see my cousins again! Until next time...
