The weather today was absolutely wonderful, except for the major wind gusts. Getting my hair to cooperate in pictures was quite the task. I made it work for a few, just enough to make this post! Anyways, on to the outfit. I think army green and cranberry/wine red are my absolute favorite colors for fall. I think they look wonderful on. I decided I would try wearing them together! I think in terms of fashion, army green is basically a neutral.
My vest is from Old Navy. I am in love with Old Navy's vests. They are a perfect dupe for J.Crew's vests, and with a college budget you can't beat that! My pants are actually velvet and super comfy...and from Target! I really really love Target and I'm always impressed with their clothing.
I also am absolutely in love with stripes lately. This t-shirt was one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe over the summer and I decided to pull it out once more since it was a little warmer out. It's flowy and white with black stripes. Also, its from Forever21! Another steal, I know I paid about ten bucks for it. I think it adds another interesting detail to this outfit.
Probably one of my favorite parts of this outfit is my booties. Kind of hard to see in the pictures, they are grey suede booties with a slight heel. I love wearing them so much. I've had them forever and never knew how to wear them and incorporate them into my style but lately I've got it figured out! (Plus they click when I walk and I love that sound...I know I'm weird) Oh, and did I mention...once again they are from Target!
For my jewelry, I decided to keep it simple. I just had on my silver monogram necklace. I am not a huge jewelry person so I tend to put this necklace on and never take it off. My necklace is from a shop on Etsy, but I don't remember which one! (I later switched to my gold Michael Kors watch because of the gold accents on my vest).
I hope y'all enjoyed this post and are enjoying the fall season, wherever you are! I know I am. Stay tuned for more looks of the day. :)
xoxo,
Kenzie
