look of the day: dinner with friends

last night, I went out to dinner for a friends birthday, and I took a few photos before I left. If you want to see what I wore, keep on reading!

The main portion of this look is the dress I am wearing. I am absolutely in love with it! Here's a surprise, I once again got it from the Target kid section. I think it totally does not look like it came from there, though! I love any white dress, but I love even more the neon, scalloped lace trim on the sleeves and on the bottom of the dress.

The dress is a little on the short side, but I think since it's summer I can get away with wearing it. As far as accessories, I kept it simple with my Michael Kors gold watch and Kate Spade initial necklace (not pictured).

I also wore my Jack Roger look alike sandals with this outfit. I am trying to break them in, so I will probably be wearing them as much as possible for awhile! (also because I love them!)

I also carried my cognac bag from Nordstrom's BP line that I have mentioned so many times! I forgot to have it in the pictures so I only have this picture that I took myself of the bag.
