National Wear Lilly Day

As you might have known, yesterday was the first day of summer, as well as National Wear Lilly Day! I of course, donned my (only) piece of Lilly to church and could not have been happier.

I got this dress off eBay, and it is an older print (I have no idea what the name is, to be honest). But it is less bold and crazy as some of the other patterns, but still has the same trimmed halter tie that is so well known for Lilly dresses! I love Lilly so much, and I am glad there is a special day dedicated to wearing Lilly.

I didn't get a good full picture of the dress because it was extremely windy and hair just doesn't cooperate with wind, but here is a shot that gives you an idea of the pattern of the dress, as seen on my instagram (follow me @kenzieeallison to see more!)

It was a great first official day of summer -- and wearing Lilly made it even better!
