pearls + sailboats

today was a relaxing and wonderful Sunday! I started off the morning with a quiet house -- my family all went to my dad's parents house for brunch, but I had to work, so I had my quiet time and ate breakfast and drank coffee -- then I went to work. This evening, my mom's parents and my great aunt  came over for dinner to celebrate my grandma's birthday. I am so indecisive that I actually wore two outfits today...here's the second of the two!

I started working at Old Navy this summer, which is one of my favorite places to buy clothes...so that means I can get them for even cheaper with my employee discount! I got these fun, sailing printed shorts there for under $15. I love them -- and they remind me of Lilly Pulitzer's "Get Nauti" print. I paired the shorts with my pastel yellow oxford button up from the little boy's section and my chunky pearl necklace from Charming Charlie's. I really liked this look, and it was perfect for my family dinner!
