Hey y'all!
Now that it is officially December, I am in full-swing Christmas mode! This past weekend, my roomamates and I put up some Christmas decorations, and it has made me so excited. We live in a rental and are college students, so our decor selection consisted mainly of a hodge-podge of random stuff we all had acquired, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite parts of our decorating.
First off, if you want something really easy and cheap to give a fun Christmas-y vibe, we found some scented pine cones, and some with glitter on them for really cheap at Walmart/Target. They make your house smell so good, we were all super obsessed with them. Not to mention they are pretty, too!
One of my roommates made a DIY palette Christmas tree decoration, and I think its so cute! She is so crafty and fun, so of course I love all the things she makes. I think the DIY was pretty simple and you could probably find something similar on Pinterest.
We also have a "hipster Santa pillow" on our couch along with some faux fur pillows and a faux fur blanket. I think faux fur makes everything look so chic and this Santa pillow is so cute! We are all avid coffee drinkers so it fits our motif perfectly :)
We also have a coffee mug organizer in our dining room which we switched out for some Christmas themed coffee mugs. Like I said earlier, we are all HUGE coffee drinkers, so we have endless amounts of mugs & we use them to decorate and make it more home-y.
Lastly, I love our mantle -- we have a cute Christmas sign, some pretty gold bottles, and some garland laid across it. I love a good mantle decoration, and I think ours turned out pretty cute. I love the golds and sparkles!
I hope you all enjoyed this post! If you want to shop anything I mentioned, I will try to link some of the items down below or find similar ones. I am so excited for Christmas and also my birthday which is in less than three weeks now. This truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
Oh my goodness! Everything turned out so cute!!
