Hey y'all!
Happy Friday! Holy cow am I excited that today is the start of the weekend. This week was long but I am not going to complain because I have so much to look forward to this weekend. First off, its Dad's weekend so my lovely dad will be coming into town which of course is beyond exciting. We have tickets to the football game, plans to eat at our fav restaurants, and have some fun at the shooting range with some of my friends and their dads. :)
Meanwhile, I wanted to share this fun fall/transitional look for y'all. Again with the camo I just love it what can I say?! I also love corduroy and these little jumper dresses that are super in style these days. This outfit is perfect because you could throw on a cardigan, some booties, and a floppy hat and it can take you all the way into the winter seasons! But for now with the temps still being a little too warm I love it styled this way :) I linked some similar items so you can get this look too!
I also wanted to share five things that have brought me joy lately! I always want to remind myself to be joyful and find the good, even in the midst of stress or business like I have been experiencing lately. I like to make little lists and leave them on my mirror or by my desk so that I am always reminded. Here is what has brought me joy lately:
1. Waking up early and getting in a run -- I love getting to watch the sun rise and the freshness a new day offers!
2. Getting iced coffee from Starbucks, but putting my own creamer in it. This has been my latest Starbucks order and I love it because I am a total creamer hoarder (I usually keep 2-3 flavors on hand so that I can always switch up my drink!!! lol)
3. Sweet moments with my besties. My bestie Shelby and I will randomly come find each other when we are home and just chat. I love that I don't have to be doing something to feel like we are best friends...Its just natural! My other bestie Carolina even folded my laundry that was in the dryer for me the other day and brought it to my room...just little moments like these make me so grateful and feel so blessed! I will be lost without them after graduation :/
4. Getting to see my family and dogs! Last night Nate & I had to come home to do a few wedding tasks...so we just stayed the night at my house and it was sooo good. I hadn't seen my family in such a long while so it was really nice! I am such a homebody and my family is such an important part of my life so I hate going more than a few weeks without seeing them... :)
5. Sharing more about my life via Instastories! I have really tried to make an effort to share more about me on social media to make my blog even more personable. I've been sharing life updates, devotionals, and some fun fashion finds lately! If you aren't following me you should (@klassicallykenzie)
I hope you all enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
