I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed celebrating Easter if you did. I of course did!
Today I wanted to share another fun spring trend with y'all. Pink jeans are the thing to wear if you didn't already know. I have been seeing them all over Instagram and Pinterest, as well as at tons of different retailers so I definitely wanted to hop on the bandwagon because I am a big pink fan ;)
I paired them with a simple striped tee, my go-to denim jacket, some espadrille flatforms, a cute scarf tied in my hair, and some gold hoop earrings. I love how simple this outfit is -- its something you could easily recreate or wear on a daily basis. Not too complicated :)
I also wanted to share 13 random facts about me because I have been gaining some new followers on my social media as well as some new subscribers to my daily newsletter! I always like sharing some info about me so you can get to know me beyond just the outfits I share in my posts!
1. I love Extra Polar Ice gum. I obsessively chew several packs a week.
2. I still have an iPhone 5s. I have been saying I need to upgrade for a really long time but I just haven't bit the bullet.
3. I recently started really enjoying eating fish. My parents love fish and I spent a lot of my life telling myself I didn't like it...and now I'm like why did I always say that? I love salmon, tilapia, and especially shrimp.
4. I used to always want a pet horse. My grandparents live on a farm and when I was little, I would always try and get them to buy a horse. One time I even left sticky notes around the house and on all the light switches trying to drop hints that I would love a horse. I was a subtle five year old!
5. I love to sew! In high school I made lots of quilts and even made some of my own clothes. I am not as good as I used to be but I still love to get my sewing machine out every now and then! I can usually hem/take in my own clothes when they don't fit quite right, so I love that I am able to do that.
6. I love to cook and bake, but I would much rather stay home and make a yummy dinner than go out to eat. If I ever do eat out, its usually just at Chick fil A.
7. I'm pretty introverted and definitely a homebody. I love to be alone and the older I get, the more I value that!
8. I'm slowly becoming a fan of black coffee. Freshman year of college, I always got lattes, chais, and hot chocolate. Sophomore and junior year I always put Splenda and creamer in my coffee, and now I can get by with a little Stevia and a splash of almond milk. Baby steps, right?
9. I love writing and receiving letters. I am always buying cute notecard sets from the Target dollar spot. They have the cutest ones!
10. Even though I am type-A, if I ever had the chance to pack up all my stuff in boxes and just travel the world for a year, I totally would. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures so that would definitely be of interest to me.
11. I have only ever lived in one state, and I am even staying here after graduation! I have loved living in Kansas and while I don't know any different, I am perfectly content staying here for now!
12. I find way too much satisfaction in my to-do list and crossing things off. I'm one of those people who will write down menial tasks like 'make your bed' just so I can have more things to cross off!
13. My parents got a puppy and I got up with him a few nights while I was home over breaks, and that was enough to make me not want a puppy anymore. They are cute but they are even cuter when I don't have to wake up in the night to take them outside! Anyone else agree ;)
