Hey y'all, welcome to another Style Tip Tuesday post! Today I wanted to talk about how I style this orange corduroy skirt for fall because its one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe currently.
I love adding fall materials and textures to my outfit like swapping corduroy on my skirt for the usual denim skirt. Plus this rusty color is perfect for fall and definitely one of my favorite colors to wear.
The first way that I styled this was for work a few weeks ago, and I love how it turned out. I paired the skirt with a deeper red colored eyelet blouse, some cognac leather booties, and a belt. I think it looks so cute and I of course love the western vibes of this look.
The second way I would style this piece would be to incorporate a graphic tee and a fun cardigan or jacket over. I picked this shaggy cardigan which is for sure a statement piece for fall, but I love how it looks. You could easily swap this for a normal long-line cardigan you have in your wardrobe. I also added some snake booties because they are my favorite boots right now, but once again you could pair any neutral bootie with this look.
A third and final way to wear this skirt would be by pairing it with your favorite cozy neutral sweater. This is my current favorite one and as you can see, I've worn this combo already! I have a fun belt paired with it, but you could always swap for a neutral belt and take the cowboy boots for a more neutral bootie.
As you can see, I wear this skirt like crazy! Its definitely a favorite of mine and I hope you all enjoyed this post. These tips could apply to any fall skirt in your wardrobe -- suede, corduroy etc. and are super easy to test out.
